My Approach:

Every student is different. Some need to understand how the body works - how voice is physically produced. Others are more kinesthetic and learn by feeling. My experiences as both a student and teacher of singing have exposed me to many different ways of helping singers discover healthy and effective vocal technique.

I am a performer, which enables me to instruct students in diction, stage presence and interpretation.

It is my goal to provide an encouraging and comfortable atmosphere for learning and confidence building. Singers are more confident when they are not merely singers, but well-rounded, confident and knowledgable musicians with a clear appreciation for the gift their music is to themselves and those who hear it.

Singing is a lifelong activity, so I happily work with students of all ages and levels.

About the Studio:

Online lessons are conducted via FaceTime, Skype, Google Meet or Zoom

In-person lessons are held at my studio, located in Aurora, Colorado, in the Tallgrass neighborhood, near Hampden & Tower

My studio is in my home. I have multiple cats - please consider this if you are allergic...or if you just love cats!
