    My Approach:

Every student is different. Some need to understand how the body works - how voice is physically produced. Others are more kinesthetic and learn by feeling. My experiences as both a student and teacher of singing have exposed me to many different ways of helping singers discover healthy and effective vocal technique.

  • I am an educator, which enables me to address each student's unique learning needs
  • I am a vocologist, which enables me to address each student's unique physical needs
  • I am a performer, which enables me to instruct students in diction, stage presence and interpretation.

It is my goal to provide an encouraging and comfortable atmosphere for learning and confidence building. Singers are more confident when they are not merely singers, but well-rounded, confident and knowledgable musicians. For this reason, I also incorporate music theory and history into singing lessons.

Singing is a lifelong activity, so I happily work with students of all ages.
